The fiancé of a woman who vanished eight months ago has made an emotional plea for help to find his missing wife-to-be.
Vitória Figueiredo Barreto, 31, was last seen entering a boatyard in Brightlingsea, Essex.
The psychologist, who had been staying in Southend-on-Sea, disappeared after visiting a friend at the University of Essex in Colchester the previous day.

Her fiancé, Janilson Gomes Da Silveira Filho, is urging police, the government and local communities to continue searching for her, as reported by Need To Know.
He said: “As far as we know, there has been no sign of life from Vitoria since March – and equally no indication that Vitoria wished to ‘start a new life,’ that all is well and that she is no longer needing help.

“Similarly, no body has been found.
“Vitoria is still missing.
“A young, vibrant psychologist, a daughter, a sister, a friend and a fiancée.”
Mr Filho appealed to people in the area to report anything that could help establish her whereabouts.
He added: “I ask the inhabitants of these areas, if you see a woman unfamiliar to the region, an unknown woman, please pass all information to Essex Police.
“Please speak to others in your community so you can help us during this difficult time.
“Vitória may be experiencing memory loss at the moment; she may be confused or unsure of where she is and in need of help.
“So we ask you as a community to please help us; she may be being held hostage somewhere and in need of help.
“I am asking the communities of Brightlingsea and Bradwell to please help us during this time – just as you helped us at the beginning.”
Vitória visited a friend at the University of Essex on 3 March before boarding the number 87 bus from Boundary Road in Wivenhoe shortly after 1 pm.
She got off at Bellfield Avenue in Brightlingsea at around 1:30 pm and was later seen on doorbell CCTV in the Hurst Green area at about 2:30 pm.
Vitória was wearing a dark coat, blue turtleneck jumper, light-blue jeans and black trainers with light-coloured soles.
She was also carrying a white shoulder bag marked ‘People over profit’.
Vitória was last seen on CCTV at 12:16 am on 4 March, spotted jumping over a fence into the boatyard.
Police believe a boat was unmoored between 12:16 am and 12:36 am that same night.
The vessel was later found drifting out of the harbour before coming to rest near Bradwell-on-Sea around midday.
Vitória’s white shoulder bag was discovered near Copperas Road in Brightlingsea shortly after 2 pm on 9 March, while her laptop was recovered in the town on 14 March.
