A British dad-of-two has been killed in a horror two-car crash as his devastated family mourn their “lovable rogue”.
Craig Assirati, known affectionately as ‘Boney’, died after the Audi A5 that he was travelling in as a passenger collided with a Volkswagen ID5.
Emergency services were called to the A472 Hafod-yr-Ynys Road, between Crumlin and Pontypool in South Wales.

The 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, as reported by Need To Know.
Gwent Police said both vehicles involved in the collision were black.

Craig’s heartbroken family described the husband and father as their “very own Peter Pan” who seized every opportunity for fun and adventure.
They said: “Craig was a weird and wonderful human, life and soul of every party and always unapologetically himself.
“He lived life to the very fullest – from being a much-loved husband, dad, son, brother to Brett and Dane, the fun uncle, friend and everything in between.
“He loved his family and friends deeply and would be there for anyone who needed it at the drop of a hat.
“He had a passion and love for bikes, quads, cars, anything with wheels and holidays with endless adventures.
“Any activity you can think of, he would be up for doing. He grabbed life with both hands and rode off with it.

“Our lovable rogue, a genuine, caring and kind soul who will be deeply missed by everyone.
“We love you so, so much, our very own Peter Pan.”
Craig’s wife, Eloise, called him her soulmate and best friend and said the couple had expected to spend the rest of their lives together.
In a tribute shared online, she said they had been together for 13 years and described Craig as the “funniest, kindest, gentle soul”.
She added: “Your kids and family love you so much and I love you more than words can ever explain.
“My heart is broken.”
Craig’s parents, Cherie and Ken, remembered their firstborn as their “mischievous, naughty boy”.
His children, Chelsea and Kai, said he had taught them to live life to the fullest and not worry about what other people thought.
They added: “You weren’t just our dad but our best friend too and we love everything about you, even your crazy ideas and meal creations.”
Craig’s family is being supported by specialist officers while the investigation continues.
Police are still seeking relevant dashcam, CCTV or mobile-phone footage for the incident that occurred on Saturday (24 October).
