A cosmetic surgeon has been arrested after a 28-year-old doctor died during a boob job
Valeria Sacoto Calero went to get the breast augmentation and also liposculpture on Tuesday (23 Apr).
During the surgery, she developed life-threatening complications.

The surgeon, the anaesthesiologist, and the secretary took her to a private clinic.
But the medics there were unable to stabilise her and she passed away.
Her shocked family immediately reported her death to the authorities in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Valeria’s unnamed surgeon was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
Her family claim there have been other complaints against him.
Officials inspected the clinic where the op took place, as reported on Need to Know.
They discovered that it was allegedly an office space without the necessary permits and promptly closed it down.
Valeria was laid to rest in Guayaquil yesterday (25 Apr).
Her mum, Blanca Calero, told local media: “She had all the tests done, everything was checked, my daughter was healthy.”
The autopsy gave her causes of death as a heart attack, respiratory failure, and venous thromboembolism.
An intensive care medic, who chose to remain anonymous, told local media: “Some fat embolus blocked a coronary artery, causing the girl’s death.”
Valeria’s family accuses the surgeon and the anaesthesiologist of medical negligence.
The latter is believed to have gone on the run.
Valeria also leaves behind a brother.
