A family mourning the loss of their car hosted a huge funeral for the motor with 1,500 people coming to say goodbye.
The Suzuki Wagon R was laid to rest on the family’s farm after 12 years of service to its owners.
A 15ft grave was dug for the vehicle, with the car being driven down the slope before being buried.
The entire event cost the family £3,666.
The Suzuki was covered in vibrant flowers before having a green fabric laid over the top as the family said their final farewells.

Sanjay Polara, the owner of the motor, decided to give the vehicle a proper send-off instead of selling it.
The spectators from the local community watched on as the vehicle was slowly covered in clay.
Priests who came to the funeral chanted mantras whilst other mourners celebrated the motor’s life.

A tree will not be planted above the burial site to remember the car, as reported by Need To Know.
The event took place on the family farm in Amreli, India.
Sanjay Polara, a construction company owner, stated: “I purchased this car nearly 12 years ago, and it significantly contributed to our family’s prosperity.
“Not only did we achieve commercial success, but we also gained respect within our community.
“The car brought good fortune to both myself and my family.
“As a token of appreciation, I decided to give it a final resting place at my farm instead of selling it.”
