A cop was robbed at gunpoint while checking her phone.
The armed suspect nabbed the officer’s service weapon.
She was standing outside an Oxxo supermarket when the gunman approached.

CCTV footage showed her checking her phone by the entrance as the suspect suddenly appeared.
He seemed to point his gun in the cop’s face before forcing her towards the back of the store.
The suspect was then seen leaving the scene with a second gun in his hand.
The robbery took place in the Mexican capital Mexico City.
The Secretariat of Security and Civilian Protection of Mexico City (SCC) said: “A man carrying a short firearm threatened the officer.
“And forced her to hand over her service weapon before fleeing.”
They said the robbery took place at the Oxxo supermarket, as reported on Need To Know.
The SCC said the cop has since filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and an investigation was launched to catch the suspect and retrieve the service weapon.
No arrests have been made yet as the police probe continues.
