In the video, a man named Marcelo, gets out of a white vehicle as the grey car behind him rams into the back of it.
As the white car was pushed closer to the give way line on the corner, Marcelo retaliated and used a tree branch to smash the front windscreen.
He then ran down the street away from the scene as a woman who had witnessed the moment began shouting.
The driver of the white car remained hidden away before the unnamed man inside the grey vehicle got out armed with a baseball bat.
He brutally attacked the car which Marcelo drove, and smashed the back window as well as both windows on the passenger side, as reported by Need To Know.
The power from his baseball bat even tore the side mirror clean off as he continued whacking the car as he walked away from it.
Shards of glass lay scattered across the ground as the owner of the grey car went to drive away.
Just as he pulled onto the road, the other driver launched his tree branch at the back window which caused it to smash.
The grey vehicle stopped, before it dramatically reversed into the white car twice which further added to the damage.
He then drove away as witnesses stood there in shock alongside Marcelo.
The road rage attack is thought to have occurred due to a disagreement over parking spaces.
According to local press, Marcelo had leased the white car which is owned by a woman named Patricia.
Patricia revealed that she has been left shocked by what happened on Tuesday (29 Apr).
She stated that Marcelo had been driving the vehicle for some time, and that things had been calm and responsible up until that point.
Carabineros, the local authorities, have since received a complaint after the events which took place on Eliodoro Yáñez Avenue, in Providencia, a district in Chile’s capital city, Santiago.
They are currently attempting to track down the driver of the grey vehicle.
