A 21-year-old woman was stabbed to death in the woods as hundreds of ravers danced just yards away.
Emma Drebenstedt was attending the 200-person-strong techno party.
At around 6:40am, police responding to noise complaints from residents of a nearby village broke up the unauthorised event.

A group of ravers bumped into Emma’s new boyfriend as they were leaving the Laußnitz Heath, north-east of Dresden, Germany.
He appeared confused and his hands were covered in blood, as reported by Need To Know.

A short while later, Emma’s body was found near a woodland path close by.
Pathologists later ruled that she had died from blood loss from multiple stab wounds to the neck and abdomen.
Her boyfriend – a 16-year-old from Pirna – tested positive for drugs and was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
He has since been placed in a psychiatric facility and no information about a motive has been released.
Emma was born in Magdeburg but moved with her mother to Dresden about 10 years ago, after her parents’ separation.
She had recently quit her part-time job so she could enjoy the summer to the fullest before looking for an apprenticeship.

She remained close to her father, Patrick, who has a techno club in Magdeburg and knew about her passion for raves.
He was familiar with her boyfriend, whom she met about a month earlier at a similar rave.
Emma’s death on 18 May is the latest in a series of tragedies for Patrick.
He lost his brother to an aneurysm in 2022, his mother to pancreatic cancer in 2023, and his uncle to suicide in 2024.
Patrick, 42, said: “Our daughter was a joyful, warm-hearted person who loved life and looked to the future with hope.

“She had only just begun to pursue her dreams and build a future for herself – despite the heavy blows of fate she had recently endured.”
Emma also leaves behind a younger sister on her mother’s side and two younger brothers on her father’s side.
The police are asking for more witnesses to come forward.
