A maniac motorist who sped the wrong way down a dual carriageway during a terrifying police chase has been caged.
Dashcam footage showed Tyler O’Keeffe tearing through traffic and even taking a roundabout anti-clockwise as stunned cops watched on.
Officers branded his antics “the worst driving they’d ever seen.”

Police first spotted O’Keeffe’s black VW Tiguan in June – complete with a parking ticket on the windscreen – in Swindon, Wilts.
When they asked the 20-year-old to pull over, he initially complied before suddenly flooring it, performing a U-turn and racing the wrong way along the busy carriageway.
As the pursuit continued, O’Keeffe took a roundabout anti-clockwise, as reported by Need To Know.
The chase only ended when he smashed into another vehicle and was finally boxed in.
O’Keeffe, of Azalea Drive in Burbage, Leicestershire, was jailed for 20 months at Swindon Crown Court after admitting dangerous driving.

He was handed 12 months for the offence, plus an extra eight months for breaching a suspended sentence, and was banned from driving for 27 months.
After sentencing, Wilts PC Tom Richardson said: “O’Keeffe’s driving was some of the worst I have seen.
“He took massive risks going the wrong way down dual carriageways and the wrong way on to the A419.
“He only thought about his own need to escape and not the danger he posed to the general public.
“He put numerous lives in danger, including his own, those of his passengers and the officers in pursuit of him.”
