A stockpiler who is preparing for global collapse says her pantry is so full she could feed a family-of-five for a decade – and she’ll be enjoying freeze-dried Christmas dinner this year.

Gubba has “scaled up” her efforts to such a level that she could “go off-grid tomorrow” if she felt the need.

The 25-year-old is preparing for the worst by stocking up on everything from food to medical supplies, seeds and soil – and every spare bit of cash goes towards her homestead.

But that doesn’t mean she won’t enjoy simple pleasures, such as having a tasty meal for the holidays.

This Christmas, she’ll enjoy a plate of roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans and apple pie for dessert – with one key difference.

She made it all last year; the ingredients are freeze-dried and sealed in silver packets, much like how astronauts eat.

“Every extra dollar goes toward my stockpile and home systems – food preservation, water storage, off-grid power, and security,” Gubba, who has two million Instagram followers @‌gubbahomstead, told Need To Know.

“To most people that sounds extreme but I see it as buying freedom.

“I’ve significantly expanded my stockpile [as of late] and doubled down on food preparation and long-term storage.

“At this point, my pantry could feed a family of five for ten years.

“I’m not planning for Christmas this year – I’m planning for collapse.

“The ‘best dish’ on my table will be a freeze-dried Christmas dinner from last year, because real celebration is knowing you can feed your family no matter what.

“It’s a full plate – roast turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, green beans, and apple pie – all freeze-dried and sealed from last year.

“To most people, that’s a quirky prepper flex.

“To me, it’s proof of independence.

“When the world panics, I’ll still sit down to a Christmas meal I made myself – and maybe put on a jar of homemade tallow balm afterward instead of perfume.”

Gubba, who lives in Washington, US, believes the world is already in the “early stages” of an untenable situation.

She said: “We’re already in the early stages — food shortages, energy manipulation, economic instability, and people completely dependent on fragile systems.

“The real collapse won’t look like a movie; it’ll feel like slow decay that never reverses.

“The tipping point will be when digital currency meets supply failure — control and scarcity all at once.

“That’s why I prepare, teach and live the way I do: resilience over reliance.

“My generation is chasing convenience – I’m chasing competence.”

Gubba has her own animals, makes her own broths, soups, home-canned meats and soaps, and has a gun collection for protection.

She even makes her own skincare and sells her products under the brand name Arvoti,

At the moment, the homesteader is considering whether the next step is to get a bunker.

She said: “I’ve got more food sealed and labeled than some grocery stores.

“I have hundreds of jars of home-canned meats, broths, and soups, freeze-dried fruit, grains in mylar bags, water purification gear, and solar power backups.

“I’ve scaled up the homestead, [too]: more chickens for eggs, goats for milk, and I’m adding sheep so I can spin wool and make my own clothes – most people overlook clothing when the grid goes down.

“I’ve also increased ammunition and firearm reserves, keep a fully equipped bug-out bag, and have a detailed plan – though my priority is to be so self-sufficient we don’t need to leave.

“I’m weighing a bunker install as the next step.

“My mission isn’t to sell fear — it’s to show people how to take back control of their lives, whether that’s through stocking food, making skincare from real ingredients, or simply learning forgotten skills.”

In the past, Subba has admitted that not everyone understands why she is preparing to such a degree – but other’s opinions don’t faze her.

She previously said: “My dad still thinks I’m crazy.

“But he has homestead parents and lots of family members who know how hard it is to be disconnected from supermarket luxuries.

“But he also knows I do what I believe in and never let others detract me.”
