The solo traveller’s phone remained off for the next few days and no contact was made with his family.
Joshua, from Grimsby, Lincs, missed his flight back home on Monday (19 Jan), as reported by Need To Know.

Today (21 Jan) his family confirmed that he was found dead in his hotel room in Pattaya, in eastern Thailand.
The news has left his loved ones devastated.
The 21-year-old’s aunt Jade Kershaw set up a GoFundMe page to secure emergency flights for the family.
The page has a goal of £6,000, with more than half raised already.

The money is also needed for an emergency passport for his mother, accommodation costs, travel costs and expenses for working with local authorities.
Jenny Kershaw stated: “As much as my heart is breaking right now, we have now located Josh.
“But unfortunately he was not alive.
“We are now trying to get his body back to the UK.”
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has been approached for comment.
