After realising Paul was beyond help, Giblin told detectives that she covered his body with a tarp and left in his pick up truck.
The grandmother was arrested in Sarasota County, Florida on 8 Mar, as reported by Need To Know.
She was charged with murder and also received a second charge of grand theft auto, after being found in possession of his vehicle.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Giblin confessed to murdering her roommate.
The vehicle was tracked by CCSO to Sarasota County where they informed the local law enforcement who made the arrest.
Giblin is now currently in custody in the county jail where she is held with bond, whilst awaiting extradition.
The grandmother’s family released a heartfelt statement to the victim’s family whilst also shedding light on their loved one’s mental health issues.

“Our hearts are deeply saddened by this inconceivable tragedy and the utter grief you most certainly must have been stricken with, by what is such an inconsolable loss,” the statement read.
“We will, in no way, attempt to deflect blame or responsibility for this crime away from the accused, who is a daughter, a sister, a mother and grandmother to those of us who are her family.
“This is something she will deal with, and the repercussions of it, every day, and eventually, before Our Lord God.
“We are once again confronted with the pain and anguish of The Mental Health Crisis, and the demons born of it, that has touched so many Americans, all across this nation.”
