An angry traveller attacked security staff at a major airport after missing her flight.
The female passenger reached the gate at 5.27pm, seven minutes after the flight’s scheduled 5.20pm departure.
Boarding had already closed, in line with standard airline procedure, and staff refused to let her board.

As a result, she allegedly caused a public altercation at Mexico City International Airport, Mexico, after missing her Aeromexico flight.
Footage showed the passenger apparently pushing security personnel in the boarding area before kicking objects in frustration.
Airport security officers quickly intervened to contain the situation and prevent further disruption to other travellers, as reported by Need To Know.
The airport authorities confirmed that security protocols were followed to ensure the safety of other passengers and staff during the disruption.
It remains unclear whether the passenger will face any further action, fines or bans.
Neither Aeromexico nor airport authorities have issued an official statement on the event.
Airlines at busy international hubs routinely close boarding gates 30 to 45 minutes before departure for safety and operational reasons.
Passengers are strongly advised to arrive at least two hours in advance for domestic flights to allow time for check-in, security and potential delays.
The videos triggered widespread debate online about passenger behaviour and the strict enforcement of boarding cut-off times.
Similar incidents have previously been captured at Mexico City’s busy AICM terminal, one of Latin America’s busiest airports.
The disruption remained localised and did not lead to broader operational delays.
