A 37-year-old mother has been found dead in a ditch after going missing during a liposuction procedure.
Blanca Adriana Vázquez Montiel’s body was discovered on Wednesday (21 May) morning, prompting police to be called to the scene.
Responding officers reportedly found abdominal incisions that may be linked to the procedure she had undergone.

The body was located in Altzayanca, Mexico, three days after Blanca went missing in Puebla, more than an hour’s drive away.
On Monday (18 May), she attended a clinic in Puebla with her husband, Florencio Ramos Sánchez, initially just to request information.
However, staff reportedly persuaded her to undergo the procedure that same day.
She is believed to have undergone power-assisted liposuction costing 14,000 MXN (£602), plus a further 3,000 MXN (£129) for skin tightening.
Around an hour into the procedure, staff allegedly sent her husband out to buy a compression garment, bandages and medication.
When he returned, he found the clinic closed and called the police, as reported by Need To Know.
CCTV footage later emerged showing three staff members carrying Blanca’s limp body from the clinic and placing it into a car boot shortly after her husband had been sent out.
The three suspects have been identified as alleged practitioner Diana Alejandra Palafox Romero, her son Carlos Quezada Palafox, and a female assistant.
All three remain at large.
Palafox Romero is the owner of Detox Clínica. It has since emerged she has no registered medical licence.
She is said to have previously worked in customer service for a telecommunications company before turning to cosmetic procedures.
She is accused of homicide and of falsely claiming to be a doctor.
The clinic’s advertised services, later removed from social media, included vaginal tightening, hormone pellets, endolift treatments, Botox, hyaluronic acid lip fillers, arm liposuction, and so-called “salmon sperm” facials.
Blanca’s remains are expected to be transferred to Huauchinango, her hometown.
Her mother, Bárbara Montiel, said: “She also had children who are suffering, and I know that sooner or later they will pay for everything they did to my girl.”
The horror comes hot on the heels of the case of Yulixa Consuelo Toloza, who underwent laser lipolysis at a clinic in Bogotá, Colombia, on 13 May.
After the procedure, the friend who had accompanied her returned to find she had disappeared.
Staff told the friend that the 52-year-old had left the clinic on her own.
However, CCTV footage later emerged showing two men carrying Yulixa, who appeared to be unconscious, into a car.
The vehicle seen in the footage was later found abandoned in Cúcuta, near the Venezuelan border, on Monday (18 May).
That same day, Venezuelan nationals Jesús Hernández Morales and Kelvis Sequera Delgado were arrested. They are believed to have driven the vehicle from Bogotá to Cúcuta.
Yulixa’s body was later found in a rural area of Apulo on Tuesday (19 May), reportedly after information was provided by the arrested suspects.
Hours later, the arrests of three further suspects in Venezuela were confirmed.
Those detained were clinic owner María Fernanda Delgado Hernández, her partner Edinson José Torres Sarmiento, and Eduardo David Ramos, who allegedly carried out the procedure.
Authorities say the clinic, Beauty Láser M.L., which presented itself as a “hair salon and beauty treatments” business, was not authorised to carry out invasive procedures such as liposuction and has since been shut down.
