Boozing Brits were given a slap on the wrist by police after sparking an illegal beach party in a popular tourist hotspot.
Holidaymakers enjoying the scorching sunshine on the seafront have been warned as officers crack down on anti-social behaviour.
Brits abroad and expats were told that “the beach is not a nightclub” after police shut down a number of unauthorised parties.

One group of around 20 revellers gathered on the sand with a tent and a paddling pool packed with ice and booze.
The illegal beach bash took place in Playa de Palma, Mallorca, as reported by Need To Know.

On June 21, officers from Palma Police swooped on the gathering and confiscated around 100 bottles of alcohol.
The group were also blasting music from a large speaker on the beach, which was seized by officers.
Citations were issued for alcohol consumption and noise offences.
A spokesperson for Palma Police said: “The beach is not a nightclub.
“Yesterday, Sunday, SETUR agents broke up two illegal drinking parties on the sand of Playa de Palma.
“The most striking thing? A group of 20 people had set up a tent, a large speaker blasting music, and an ice-filled pool containing about 100 alcoholic drinks.

“Two buckets of more drinks were confiscated from another group.
“The officers issued citations for alcohol consumption and noise violations.
“The alcohol and speakers were confiscated.
“The Code of Conduct is clear: public spaces are for everyone and civic responsibility is non-negotiable.
“Enjoy the beaches while respecting the peace and quiet of others.”
