A man has revealed having spent almost £8,000 (€9,000) on extreme body modifications to resemble a “human skull” – and says people regularly call him a “satanist”.
Sandro Dahlke, from Brandenburg, Germany, is better known online by his nickname ‘Mr Skullface’ and it’s not difficult to see why.
The 41-year-old has undergone countless body modifications, including removing his ears, branding himself with a pentagram, getting six ball implants into his head and more.

Sandro has 13 piercings, having gotten his first done at 17, a split tongue, four transdermal forehead implants, a silicon spider on his left hand and a silicone horse on his right, microchip implants and 40 tattoos.
To achieve his skull-like look, he has also had the skin around his eyes tattooed.
“Many think it was because I belong to the new modern satanism and that it was a type of worship, but this is not the case,” Sandro told NeedToKnow.online.
“My mods are just for me because I prefer them.
“Removing the earpiece [his ears] was the craziest thing.
“The procedure itself was [done] under anaesthetic. […] since the seam was under tension, I had to be very watchful of my movements to not endanger them.
“Only after four months was it healed so far that it looked good.”
Sandro is used to people staring at him in public and commenting about his look online.
He said: “In the public area, they [my modifications] are mostly looked [at like that’s awesome].
‘Negatives are less [forthcoming], maybe because many are scared I could get mad or something.”

Sandro revealed he has received backlash from some religious groups over his modifications, particularly as he has altered his skin.
The body modification lover has recently taken to TikTok (@mr.skullface666), sharing his journey with his 6,662 followers.

In one clip, that’s had over 6,000 views, Sandro shows off his forehead implants to stunned viewers, though many also commented on his jet-black eyes.
“As long as you don’t hurt or bother anyone, everyone is free to express themselves. As long as it’s within the law,” commented one user.
“To each his own and I most,” added someone else. [sic]
“The eyes are really awesome. Looks mega,” wrote another user.
“I find you great as you are,” commented someone else.
Sandro added: “I myself wish that people [had] more tolerance and go to people if they have questions and don’t put everything and everyone in a drawer just because they don’t know it.”
