Football legend Lionel Messi has left fans baffled with his unusual knees.
The 36-year-old is holidaying in the Bahamas with wife Antonela Roccuzzo, 35, and their three sons.
The seven times Ballon d’Or winning new Inter Miami ace – dubbed the G.O.A.T – posed on the beach holding a drink by the sea.
The former Barcelona and PSG star has a heavily tattooed left leg and was posing with the right leg of his green swimming shorts rolled up.
But puzzled supporters all said the same thing about the bulges above his kneecaps.
Joe Guadarrama said: “Is it me or is his knee’s deformed?”
Another – named Dayton – added: “Why your knees look like that?”
One joked: “Bro, your knee has a knee.”
Rubén Gómez said: “What the f*ck is going on with his knees?”
Kamalesh added: “Knees look weird.”
One – called Heritier – said: “I thought Messi had an amputated leg for a second.”
One theory is that the bulges are actually a sign of the Argentina World Cup winner’s peak physical fitness.
Experts say it is due to work outs he does on his quadriceps to maintain good shape as he reaches the twilight of his glittering career.
