A body modification fanatic dubbed a “real life cherub from hell” has shared her latest procedure which has cost over £800: implants to make her arms larger.

Gabriela Peralta regularly hits the headlines alongside her husband, Victor, for their controversial looks.

She married the showman over 15 years ago and in total, the pair have a combined 91 inkings and modifications – including scarifications, tattooed black eyeballs and a split tongue.

The couple, aged 52 and 53, have also earned the Guinness World Record title for “most body modifications” (married couple), which they’ve held for 10 years.

Now, in a bid to continue her transformation, the “real life cherub from hell” has revealed her latest modification: implants under the neck to make her arms appear larger.

“I wanted to make this modification because I want to add more to my body,” the tattoo artist told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“In reality, a modification for me forms part of my complete appearance and makes a new detail to a set [I already have].

“And all together, that achieves me.”

Gabriela underwent the invasive procedure, called biomech implants, during a trip to Mexico, where they were invited to participate in an exhibition on modifications.

Their friend, body modifier, Gato Moreno, invited the couple to spend a few days at his family home, as well as visit his brand new tattoo studio.

While there, he performed the surgery, where they began with marking the designated area.

Next, an incision is made where the skin is separated with a spatula, before the implant is inserted underneath.

Finally, the area is sutured and the process is completed in 40 minutes, costing 1,000 (EUR) (£858) – but Gabriela claims it didn’t hurt in the slightest.

She said: “Pain is funny to me, as it can be felt for breaking something or an accident – but not for body modifications.

“The pain is part of the show, it has no comparison with anything else.

“You also have to bear in mind [post-surgery] that it’s important not to hit it and wait for the swelling to go down to achieve optimal results.”

In a clip, posted on Instagram, which has racked up 18,000 views and hundreds likes, she reveals the procedure in progress.

Gabriela is shown lying on a surgical bed, as two people use surgical scissors to open up the designated area of skin below her neck.

As the silicone implant is inserted, blood is removed, before the object is pushed in further with force.

She appears unfazed while they tug at her skin to position the implant into place.

Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many impressed by the unique modification.

Someone else commented: “They come back refreshed.”

“I love it,” another person added.

One person said: “Take care of your health brother,” followed by a purple heart emoji.

Others simply left a fire emoji.

Gabriela, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, added: “I didn’t get inspired by anything and I’m super determined throughout.

“When I choose what I want, imagine how the finished and healed look will work out, then I’m going for it.

“For the most part, it’s just aesthetics.

“The people around me are used to seeing our changes, so they are not surprised and those who don’t know us much believe they don’t notice the difference between one more or less [modification].

“For me, negative reactions don’t exist, as I don’t pay attention to them.

“I’m very sure of what I like and what I want for myself, so I don’t cater my life to other people and I don’t allow them to invade that.

“I am super happy and satisfied with the decisions I make.

“I don’t regret anything.”
