If you’ve ever dreamed of recreating the most famous Royal wedding in history, you’re in luck, with “large samples” of the fabric from Princess Diana’s wedding dress up for sale.
However, you’ll have to be prepared to splash the cash, as the leftovers from the 1981 gown will set you back an eye-watering £35,000.
Along with the fabric, proud owners will receive a printed companion guide, a certificate of authenticity, and, naturally, a 28-day return policy.

For a more affordable option, customers can buy seven smaller pieces for £750, measuring only an inch square each.
“Diana’s wedding dress was arguably the best-kept royal secret of all time,” said Paul Fraser, founder of Paul Fraser Collectibles.
“This is a rare opportunity to own intimate pieces from that extraordinary day and extraordinary moment in British history.
“William and Harry own the original wedding dress today, which means it’s highly unlikely ever to appear for sale.
“These pieces of fabric are the next best thing: they were literally ‘cut from the same cloth’.”

So what can you expect when spending the equivalent of a house deposit on the fabric?
The coveted prize includes Diana’s wedding dress silk taffeta, which made the exterior of the Princess-like dress.

As well as this, the silk lining from the gown, the silk taffeta from the train, fine lace from the train’s border, and spangled lace are all part of the collection.
Lace from Diana’s shoes is also included, as well as various pieces of fabric and lace used to create her bridesmaid’s dress bands.
With the dress being a hotly guarded secret at the time of its creation, the leftovers are full of potential.
