A glam cop has entered the Miss World beauty pageant.
Karla Güiza mixes crime-fighting with strutting on the catwalk.
The 24-year-old police officer previously took part in Miss Honduras Universe 2023 in her homeland.
She narrowly missed out on a spot in the final.
Güiza, an officer with the National Police of Honduras (PNH), now hopes to represent her country at Miss World 2024.
Her participation was confirmed by the organisers of Miss World Honduras.
She will represent the department of La Paz in the national beauty pageant, just as she did for last year’s Miss Honduras Universe competition.
If Güiza makes it to the finals, it will be the first time a PNH officer has been chosen for the international event.
She said: “Honduran women are good, strong, beautiful, and intelligent women.”
She advised her followers: “Pursue your dreams, just as I am pursuing mine.”
One fan said: “Karla, you have earned the admiration of many.
“I hope God continues to bless you.”
Ismael said: “She is an excellent candidate, you can see that she is a super humble human being.
“I know she can go further than she imagines. You have my support.”
Daniel wrote: “Come on Karla. That crown has to be yours.”
Manuel remarked: “You are the prettiest woman.”
Lester commented: “I wish you all the best.”
