A married, dad-of-one was killed when his car was crushed between two trucks.
The horror unfolded on a motorway on Tuesday (5 Mar) morning after a road closure prompted by a gas leak caused a traffic jam.
The emergency services dispatched a helicopter to the scene.
Horrified medics and firefighters found Antonio Araca’s car sandwiched between the back of a lorry and the front of another.

They believe he died instantly and there was nothing they could do to save the 48-year-old’s life.
It took a complicated operation to remove his body from the crumpled wreckage on State Road 115 in Sciacca, Sicily, Italy.
One of the lorry drivers sustained serious injuries.
He was rescued and airlifted to a hospital in Palermo.
His condition is not life-threatening, local media report.
The road was closed until Tuesday (5 Mar) evening so the police could investigate and the vehicles could be removed from the scene.
Antonio lived in Longi with his wife and one-and-a-half-year-old daughter.
He worked as a surveyor for a construction firm in Agrigento and also co-managed an adventure park.
He was a passionate Roma fan.
His death is not the first tragedy to have hit the Araca family.
One of his cousins, also called Antonio Araca, died when his car plunged into a ravine in Frazzanò in March 2023.
The investigation into the latest crash continues.
