A 90-year-old man said he has received a letter from a hospital informing him of his own death.
Despite wrongly referencing his passing, Max Brunel was asked to go to there to collect his own belongings, he said.
He was treated in the hospital for a two-month period at the end of last year.

The OAP was discharged in good health in December and returned to his home in Lunel near Montpellier in France.
Writer Max said he was surprised to receive the letter from the University Hospital of Montpellier.
He claimed that it stated he passed away in the hospital on 27 December, but that he should go there to pick up his belongings.
He added: “I quickly thought that the same letter could have reached my bank, the tax department, social security, that I would be taken off the system everywhere.
“If my bank account had been blocked, I really would have died.”
Max also said that his name even appeared in an obituary and that some friends thought he had died as they hadn’t seen him since being discharged.
He stated: “One acquaintance saw my name in an obituary and it caused her a lot of pain.
“And unfortunately, she wasn’t the only one.”
Max wrote them a letter informing them that he is indeed alive and well.
He said: “A friend said to me ‘Max, if that was me, I would ask for damages for moral harm’.
“Lawyers have enough work without me adding to it, especially for a small mistake, they haven’t done me any harm.
“Indeed, all is well that ends well.”
He added: “For someone who’s dead, I’m in pretty good health.”
Brunel, who will celebrate his 91st birthday in three months, has yet to receive an apology from the hospital, as reported by Need To Know.
