A masked gunman opened fire on a glamorous mayoral candidate as she sat in a car.
The attack on Alessandra Rojo de la Vega was captured in chilling CCTV footage.
The video shows the man walking along the pavement wearing a motorcycle helmet.

He pulls a handgun from his clothes and aims towards a car parked on the other side of the road.
He shoots five times in succession before retracing his steps at speed on Saturday (11 May) night.
Rojo is a mayoral candidate for Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City and the vehicle had just parked when the attack happened.
The 37-year-old was unharmed.
The Mexican authorities say the gunman fled the scene with an accomplice who had been waiting for him on a motorcycle.
They later hid the bike and headed towards a neighbouring state, as reported on Need to Know.
Rojo told local media: “When I heard the first shot, I ducked down and my driver sped off.”
Prosecutors have since opened an investigation for suspected attempted homicide.
However, some of Rojo’s political opponents have suggested the incident was a self-staged set-up amid a fierce debate about security.
They have asked the police to investigate.
Rojo describes herself on social media as a “feminist activist, mother, and businesswoman”.
She told her followers on Tuesday (14 May): “To everyone who has given me their full support and to those who cowardly insist on attacking me:
“We will keep moving forward, we will not be silenced.”
