A Man City fan female footballer has died after colliding with a teammate on the pitch.
María Jimena Grajales Ríos was competing in a national futsal tournament when tragedy struck.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper rushed out to intercept the ball.

But Maria – snapped wearing a blue City shirt – collided with her teammate and suffered a strong blow to the abdomen.
Her team Caldas University was taking on the Manizales National University in El Espinal, located southwest of Bogotá in Colombia.
The tournament was organised by the Association of Colombian Universities (ASCUN), as reported by Need to Know.
María, who was studying philosophy and literature at Caldas University, was rushed to hospital where she died of abdominal trauma three days later.
A spokesperson for the Tolima Institute of Professional Technical Training said: “At the time of the incident, all medical care measures and protocols were carried out to provide first aid to the player.
“After this procedure, she was immediately transferred to the Las Victorias Clinic and, subsequently, she was referred to the San Rafael Hospital in El Espinal where she unfortunately died on Wednesday.
“We send our condolences and deep regret to the family of the deceased athlete and the entire academic community for this unfortunate loss.”
A spokesperson for Caldas University said: “The unexpected death of María Jimena has filled us with sadness.
“Her dedication and commitment to the sport and to our university will always be remembered with deep affection and admiration.
“Her athletic achievements and courageous spirit will continue to be an example for our community.”
Students held a candlelit vigil for the goalkeeper, who wore the number 30 shirt, at the university last Thursday (16 May).
