A motorcyclist has been arrested for pummelling a traffic warden in front of dozens of onlookers on a busy street.
The biker overpowered the warden on a zebra crossing as locals looked on from the side of the road.
A bystander then pulled the motorcyclist away from the traffic warden, who lay motionless on the ground for a moment.

The fight broke out while the official was carrying out a traffic stop at the zebra crossing in Uberlândia, north of São Paulo, Brazil, on 27 May.
The 55-year-old warden reportedly whistled for the biker to stop, but he was travelling too fast and halted after the crossing.
The 30-year-old motorcyclist explained that he was in a hurry, but the official proceeded to remove his key from the ignition and asked to see his paperwork.
While the biker was fetching his documents, the warden went to take a photo of the motorcycle’s license plate but was surprised to allegedly receive a punch to the face.
The blow reportedly broke his nose.
The traffic official then used pepper spray to defend himself against the attack, according to reports.
However, the biker told the police that the warden shoved him when he went to take a photo of his plates so he pushed him back.
The official then retaliated by using pepper spray, which is when the motorcyclist first punched him, according to his account.
He also claimed that the warden did not use a whistle to get his attention.
Despite the two versions, eyewitnesses confirmed the traffic warden’s account of events.
The biker was subsequently placed under arrest by the police.
Both men required medical attention at a nearby health centre, as reported by Need To Know.
The Department of Traffic and Transport has yet to release a statement on the incident.
The police investigation is ongoing.
