Raymond Calvert who became Britain’s oldest dad at 78 has left £25,000 to the tot in his will.
He had son Jamie Rai in 2010 with Charlotte Calvert, then 25 – 53 years his younger.
It was a record at the time.
But Raymond passed away on 1 December, 2022, aged 91.
He left £760,583 in his will.
Of that, £25,000 went to Jamie Rai, now 14, when he turns 21.
The same amount went to Charlotte, now 39.
Raymond also had six other children with his ex-wife.
The former market trader, of Colne, near Burnley, Lancashire, first met Charlotte when she was 16.
A few years later the pair’s romance blossomed, as reported by Need To Know.
He updated his will just after Jamie Rai was born.
Two of his daughters Rachel and Paula Louise Calvert were appointed as his executors and trustees.
His home was to be given to both his executors provided Charlotte was not living their at the time of his death.
Raymond also requested that if Charlotte was living at his home during his death that she can continue until their son reaches the age of 21.
The money left behind by Raymond was to be used to pay off funeral costs and any debts he may have had, as per Raymond’s request.
The remainder of the money was said to be divided equally between Raymond’s other six children.
In 2020, former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone had a child at the age of 89 – taking the record.
