As grey waters emerge through, homes and other infrastructure, such as walls, roads and bridges are seen torn apart, reports NeedToKnow.
Cars are stranded, with other large debris flowing through at a fast pace.
Other images from the local fire department show the aftermath, with trapped buses and parts of collapsed buildings covering the ground.
According to local reports, it’s the third time in history that the resort has been struck by landslides and floods, previously in 1999 and again in 2005.
The Landeck fire department has been actively involved since the flood broke out in an attempt to manage the devastating situation.
A programme, Contwise-LISA, has been put into action to record information and pass this over to all emergency services at the same time.
Currently, a drone is being used to provide high-resolution and clear aerial photographers to document the situation from a bird’s eye view.
It’s believed that 35 houses have been damaged and countless cars swept into the river.
At the time of writing, no injuries or other damage has been reported, but the village and resort is believed to remain closed for the foreseeable.
