A lucky pilot escaped largely unscathed after crash-landing a ‘homemade’ plane in a field.
The ultralight aircraft made an emergency landing near a football pitch.
Footage taken moments afterwards shows the destroyed, single-engine plane as it sustained heavy damage to a wing and the windscreen was smashed out.

Local media described the aircraft as homemade and it’s not clear what caused it to crash.
Locals at the site in Nova Iguaçu, Brazil, said the plane often flew over the area broadcasting ads with a loudspeaker.
Witnesses saw the craft flying low at around 4:40 pm on Friday 16 August and moments later heard it hitting the ground, as reported by Need To Know.
Initial reports said the pilot sustained only minor injuries.
No one on the ground was apparently hurt.
The plane reportedly belongs to the Escola Brasileira de Aerodesporto, which offers pilot training courses in São José do Rio Pardo.
Following the crash, neither the police nor the fire brigade were called to the scene, according to local media.
However, the Brazilian Air Force said air-accident investigators were dispatched to the site to collect evidence.
The pilot’s identity has not been revealed.
