A schoolgirl complaining of toothache died after having it extracted.
Džejla Drapić’s parents took her to a private dental clinic after she complained of tooth pain.
The secondary school pupil had the infected tooth extracted but instead of improving, her health deteriorated rapidly.

After developing sepsis, the 16-year-old was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
She died at the Sarajevo University Clinical Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday (11 Oct).

Her father, Muamer, said: “My darling girl, my beauty, half of my soul has gone with you, just like my mother’s.
“You will always be in our hearts. We will love you forever.”
Her mother, Džemila, added: “My little bud has returned to the Lord.
“My Lord, I ask you to grant my child the most beautiful place in paradise.

“She will forever remain in her mother’s heart and prayers.”
Džejla also leaves behind a sister, Ajla, and two brothers, Armin and Amer.
She will be laid to rest today (16 Oct) in the Bosnian capital, as reported by Need To Know.

The Sarajevo Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the case.
The dental clinic Džejla went to is not named in reports.
