A baker was allegedly shot dead by her own nephew with an antique gun because she called him an ‘idiot’.
Laura Frosecchi was found dead by a customer of her bread shop.
She ran the bakery with her husband.

Her nephew Mattia Scutti was identified as her suspected killer after he called the police himself and allegedly confessed to the crime.

After a long talk with officers, the 22-year-old gave himself up from his house and he was taken into custody.
The police recovered four spent casings from the crime scene in Chiesanuova near Florence, Italy.
The murder weapon has been identified as a Hungarian-made “Fegyvergyar Budapest” from the early 1900s.
The .8-calibre semi-automatic had been gifted to Scutti some time ago by an elderly man from their village, cops understand.
Officers found a large knife, an American machine gun from World War II, and other weapons in his home.

In the moments before his arrest, Scutti told the police he’d felt “bullied” by his aunt.
He allegedly confessed: “She calls me a drug addict and an alcoholic. She’s insulted me in every way possible.
“The other day, my granddad gave me some schiacciata.
“I told my aunt it was good, and she called out from behind, ‘Let’s see what this idiot has to say now.’
“That’s why I shot her. She was obsessed with insulting me every single day, every time.”
Frosecchi, 55, leaves behind a husband and two sons, as reported by Need To Know.

Her nephew underwent a psychiatric evaluation last year, which concluded that he was “not socially dangerous”.
However, it said he had “impulse control issues” and showed “explosive behaviour under stress”.
A resident told local media: “We had seen him walking around the village with a gun for some time. We were afraid of him.”

Scutti is accused of murder and of illegal possession of firearms, weapon parts, military weapons, and ammunition.
