Timothy, a meat department manager from Chicopee, Massachusetts, US, has wholesome plans for his winnings and is planning to share a portion with his mother and will invest the rest.

He claimed his lucky ticket, part of the Massachusetts Lottery ‘$2,500,000 Merry & Bright’ promotion, on 23 October taking a one-time payment of £500,000 ($650,000) before tax, as reported by What’s The Jam.
But he wasn’t the only winner – Yazzy’s Market, the store where Timothy bought the winning ticket, will receive £7,700 ($10,000) for selling it.
