A 21-year-old woman has been found dead after refusing a date with a drug dealer, according to her family.
Thaís Guimarães da Silva is reported to have been tortured before she was killed.
Her body was found in the neighbourhood of Palmeirinha in Belford Roxo near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, two days after she went missing.

According to her family members, Guimarães was murdered for refusing to go out with a known drug dealer in the area, as reported by Need To Know.

The name of the suspected killer has not yet been released by the authorities.
Concerned relatives launched an online campaign to help find the young woman after she went missing on 11 November.

They also covered the town in posters.
Her funeral took place at the Nova Iguaçu Cemetery at 1.15pm on 14 November.

The police have yet to announce the arrest of anyone in connection with Guimarães’ death.
Her body was found on 13 November.
