All of a sudden, some of the people inside the workplace start sprinting towards the exit.
A split-second later, a car hurtles through the side wall with an almighty crash.
It sweeps at least two people in its path off their feet before smashing through the wall on the other side.
A trail of destruction is left behind as the vehicle comes to a stop with only the very end of its boot still in the hairdressers.
The horror unfolded on Saturday (14 Dec) at the 32 Degrees Barbershop in Houston, Texas, US.
The Porsche Macan hit a 10-year-old boy, who needed surgery after being bulldozed into the neighbouring massage parlour.
As of Sunday (15 Dec), he was recovering in the ICU and was doing “much better”, according to the barbershop.
The crash happened after the driver allegedly, accidentally kept his foot on the accelerator while reversing out of a parking space.
He hit another car, smashed through the front of a church, turned, and crashed into the barbershop, it is claimed.
He then hurtled into the massage parlour next door and, lastly, into a gun store further along.
The 61-year-old had been undergoing treatment at a dialysis centre in the same row of businesses shortly before the accident.
He reportedly remembered going forward and then waking up after his car had come to a stop.
Thanks to the yells of a man doing paintwork outside, and some of those inside the barbers, were able to get out of the way in the nick of time.
Others were also injured, including a woman in another business, who had to go to hospital.
Thankfully, there were no fatalities, as reported by Need To Know.
An investigation is underway.
