An influencer claims to have fired her personal trainer after spotting him eating a McDonald’s meal.
Ravena Hanniely left fans shocked after revealing that she had dismissed the fitness coach on Instagram, where she has 267,000 followers.
Despite facing backlash online, the 23-year-old is standing firm by her decision – saying she believes a PT should be an example of health and fitness.

“It’s a matter of credibility,” Ravena told Need To Know.
“A fitness professional needs to set an example of health, which directly influences the trust placed in them by their clients.
“I can’t take a professional seriously if they don’t take care of their own physical fitness.
“He was overweight.”
According to the influencer, the tipping point came when she saw her trainer eating fast food before a session.
She said: “When I arrived for training, I saw him eating a McDonald’s burger.
“How can someone who claims to prioritise health and wellness eat something so processed?
“That’s when I decided it wasn’t going to work for me anymore.”
Ravena, who is from Brazil, asked her followers for their thoughts via Instagram Stories, which has since expired.
She said: “What about you?
“Would you have done the same?”
She claims that some followers supported her stance while others argued that a professional’s competence shouldn’t be tied to their physical appearance.
This isn’t the first time Ravena has spoken out on a fitness-related issue.
In the past, she has criticised the term “midsize” – a term often used only by influencers to describe their body type.
She said: “This is just used to describe people of average size.
“Basically a euphemism for obesity.
“They’re overweight people.”
