A monkey bit a woman and pulled her hair during a seven-minute rampage in a bustling store.
The rhesus macaque sparked panic among customers.
One woman screamed for help as onlookers tried to assist her.

The primate was seen leaping onto the shoulders of unsuspecting shoppers before targeting the woman, who was paralysed with fear in the corner of the shop.
Concerned shoppers urged the woman to stand up and escape the primate’s grasp.
One man is heard saying: “Get up quickly.”
Enticed by bananas offered by the shoppers, the monkey decided to jump onto a clothing rack.
One onlooker told the woman to run away.
But as she tried to move, the macaque pounced on her again, causing her to scream in terror.
A man says: “Run away.”
The monkey appeared to pull the woman’s hair and bite her back before gnawing off her shoe.
The victim said: “It bit me.”
Onlookers threw blankets at the animal to trap it, but it evaded their attempts.
It roamed the store for several minutes as shoppers kept a safe distance.
The woman was reportedly left traumatised by the encounter on Saturday (11 Jan).
The monkey sneaked into the CityKart shopping centre in Jhansi City, located south of New Delhi in India.
After nearly 10 minutes, the primate escaped from the shopping centre, as reported by Need To Know.
