A young woman has sparked outrage after stripping naked and climbing on top of a pearl sculpture to recreate Botticelli’s Venus.
Footage shows the suspect walking over to the monument as a photographer sets up her camera a few feet away.
The woman hops onto the base and removes her dress before climbing to the top of the monument.

Standing naked in front of the pearl, the woman poses for snaps in an apparent attempt to recreate Sandro Botticelli’s famous painting ‘The Birth of Venus’.
Several stunned pedestrians walk past as the naked woman climbs down from the sculpture.
The stunt took place at the La Perla statue in La Paz, Mexico.
The suspect, identified as Olga, 30, was arrested by the police for exhibitionism on 11 January.
She also removed the photos she posted on her Facebook page, as reported by Need To Know.
Many users slammed her stunt as disrespectful, especially as the statue is situated on the Álvaro Obregón Boardwalk in the city centre.

One local said: “What a lack of respect.”
Another wrote: “If that was a man, the authorities would have been straight on him.”
“They should put up signs for these kinds of people,” commented someone else.
Olga was later transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office where she reportedly received a fine of £119 (MXN 3,000).
