A humanoid robot has stunned social media users after it was spotted wandering the streets.
The robot, named SE01, made quite the impression when it went for a stroll outside the office where it was built.
Large crowds of people were mesmerised as they watched the robot walk around like a human being, coordinating its arms with every step.

It even maintained the exact same speed, which was demonstrated by two men walking alongside it.
The robot stands at 170cm metres tall and it can even perform squats and push-ups.
It has the ability to walk in circles and grab objects just like a person.
The Chinese company, Engine AI, which are based in Shenzhen, announced their creation last October.
The firm stated that SE01 is designed to last for more than 10 years, as reported by Need To Know.
Founded in October 2023, Engine AI have already launched several humanoid robots.

One of them is an open-source bipedal robot intended for scientific research and educational purposes.
The SA01 is priced at £4,298, with one of their other robots, a 138cm tall PM01, listed at £9,823.
It has not yet been disclosed how much a high-end SE01 will cost.
Yao Qiyuan, the company’s co-founder, revealed last week that they aim to keep the price for full-sized humanoid robots between £16,743 and £22,324.
Engine AI are reportedly opting to keep production costs of each one under £11,162.
And social media users have had a lot to say about the invention.
Simon said: “In 10 years time they will be walking our streets.”

Alan penned: “We’ve seen this movie, it doesn’t end well.”
“Wow, that’s great. Chinese engineer’s well done,” added Talu.
Marcio commented: “We are living the future already.”

“I hope they will always be seen as tools and not a replacement for humans,” wrote Christina.
