A plane engine erupted in flames after overshooting the runway on landing.
The aircraft’s right propeller encountered a technical problem that reportedly caused the pilot to overshoot the runway.
The Antonov An-26 plane careered into a grassy clearway area where the landing gear collapsed and the engine caught on fire.

Footage shows dozens of locals running through the field to offer help and take photos of the burning plane.
One clip shows the engine completely burned out after the aircraft crash-landed in the field.
The runway excursion accident took place at Kongolo Airport in the Democratic Republic of the Congo yesterday (21 January).
The Air Kasaï plane had departed Goma International Airport with five crew members onboard.
The aircraft, registered 9S-AYN, was transporting a cargo of cigarettes at the time of the accident.
The authorities confirmed that there were no casualties in the crash.
Jean-Paul Ngongo Mboka Miba, administrator for Kongolo in Tanganyika Province, went to visit the crash site.
He told reporters: “The captain speaks of a bad landing.
“The plane, while landing, deviated from the normal path of the runway.
“The propeller on the right side was blocked, the engine on the right side was damaged.”
He added: “The goods were not affected and all the crew members are safe and sound.
“We thank the inhabitants who mobilised to put out this fire.”
Based in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Air Kasaï operates charter services within Africa, as reported by Need To Know.
The airline also provides crucial connections between towns and cities in the central African country, especially in areas with limited road infrastructure.
Air Kasaï, based at N’Dolo Airport in Kinshasa, has yet to issue an official statement regarding the accident.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
