The married dad was lying on his back dressed in sportswear and surrounded by spent bullet casings.
It’s believed he died instantly after receiving multiple bullets to the body and head.
Police cordoned off the area and removed the corpse from the scene in Culiacán, west of Monterrey, Mexico.

Local media say Peña, 42, was on his morning walk after leaving his house yesterday (23 Jan).
The motive for the killing and the identity of the perpetrators, who are at large, remains a mystery.
At the time of writing, Peña boasted 172,800 followers on TikTok and 19,300 on Instagram.
He used social media to share his gruelling gym routines, as well as moments from his family life.
His killing is the latest in a series of influencer murders in Mexico’s Sinaloa state, as reported by Need To Know.

On 10 January, 22-year-old YouTuber Agustín Paul “El Pinky” was found shot dead on a road in Culiacán.
His hands and feet were tied behind his back.
Also in Culiacán, in December, content creator Leobardo Aispuro Soto, aka “El Gordo Peruci”, was shot multiple times while returning home with his wife.

And in November, influencer Jesús Miguel Vivanco García, 29, was found murdered in nearby Costa Rica.
Sinaloa is plagued by widespread crime, with criminal organisations operating throughout the state.
