An angry thug swung at a bus driver in a row over a ticket as stunned OAP passengers watched on.
The violent youth also tried to grab him through the protective screen on the single-decker.
The hooded lout hurled a volley of foul-mouthed abuse at the poor driver.
Pensioners could be seen looking on in horror at the row.
The agreement started after the driver said he was taking too long to pay his ticket, it’s understood.
The driver was trying to keep traffic moving in the congested area.
He said: “I pay for a ticket. You p*ssed me off, bro.
“Let me on the f*cking bus.”
He then punched through the screen and added: “You’re a fcking dckhead, bro.”
The thug demanded the driver come out and said: “Get off the f*cking bus.
“Get off the bus.”
The driver replied: “F*ck off.”
The lout then tried to grab him through the screen.
The driver replied: “I have you on camera.”
He replied: “I don’t give a f*ck bro.”
The driver continued: “I have you on camera.”
The thug added: “I don’t give a f*ck.”
The bus driver said: “You assaulted me.”
The yob replied: “I didn’t hit you.”
But he then got off the Brighton and Hove Buses service, in Coombe Road, Brighton, at 4:30pm yesterday (27 Jan).

The driver said: “Now run, run.
“I have your face on camera.”
Locals were left fuming at the violent attack on the bus driver, as reported by Need To Know.
Danny Saleem said: “I feel sorry for the bus driver who was only doing his job and didn’t deserve to receive abuse from this scumbag.”

Maxine Horn added: “Good grief some of Brighton’s youth are unable to control their emotions.
“Really unpleasant for all involved, especially the bus driver doing his job.
“Thank goodness for the protective screen otherwise he would have been badly hurt.”
One, named Stuart, said: “Absolute scum.”
Darren added: “No one should be assaulted or threatened at work like that.

“I hope the driver was given the rest of the day off.
“The drivers in Brighton do a great job.
“Must be stressful with all the knives around and they should be protected.
“As for the lad, who knows what he’s going through. Hope he finds peace.”
Brighton and Hove Buses and Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
