The yellow and red kayaks passed a group of workers as rain continued to fall.
The pair was spotted paddling through the Poligono de la Vega industrial estate near Fuengirola yesterday (3 Jan).
They sailed the streets after a flash flood caused by a strong storm known as DANA.
The cause of the disastrous weather is a phenomenon that forms in the Mediterranean called a Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos (DANA) – a Spanish phrase that translates to “isolated depression at high levels”.
Footage of the men’s kayak adventure has been widely shared on Facebook.
One local said: “DANA has returned.”
Jordi wrote: “That area has had flood problems for years thanks to useless and incompetent politicians.”
Jantine remarked: “How miserable, but at least these guys came up with a fun solution.”

The Costa del Sol was placed under an orange alert for heavy rain on Monday.
Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos were the worst-hit towns in the region.
Over 70mm of rain fell in less than 45 minutes in Torremolinos.
Local authorities reported that multiple residents had to be rescued from their vehicles after the streets quickly turned into rivers.
The cold snap also brought hail and snow to the mountainous areas of inland Malaga, as reported by Need To Know.
Fortunately for locals, the weather is expected to be sunny and calm for the rest of the week.
