A woman who survived on expired bread has revealed how she clawed her way to the top to become a multi-millionaire.
Rachel Cook moved to Hollywood hoping to hit the big time as a model – but soon found herself struggling so much that she couldn’t afford fresh food.
Sharing a twin room in a cramped flat, she began growing sick of “hustling” for any small-time gig she could find.
After seeing other people’s success on OnlyFans, the 30-year-old decided to try it for herself in an effort to make extra cash.

Within 12 months, she had made her first million – spending the hard-earned cash on a 40-acre farm where she could grow her own food.
“I moved to Los Angeles hoping to make it big, and I was dying to get out of my hometown and do something with my life,” said Rachel, who has four million followers on Instagram.
“It was hard to get jobs because there are so many amazing women, and brands prefer bigger names over a random model.

“I would go to the grocery store discount section and eat expired bread and share a twin room in a flat with other models.
“Then, I would go to promoter dinners because you get free food in exchange, for showing up at the club.
“I was completely broke and I didn’t have anyone other than myself to support me.
“I considered quitting and moving back home to Seattle many times.”
The turning point came when Rachel joined the adult platform and saw success almost overnight.

She said: “I should have done it a long time ago.
“I started sharing some nudes and sexy sensual art.
“There are so many people on OnlyFans who you can reach.
“It took off immediately because I have so many amazing fans and they still support me on the platform over two years later.
“Since I started, I’ve earned millions and millions and millions.”

Rachel, who has always been a nature lover, knew early on what she wanted to do with her first million.
After watching a documentary about how regenerating the world’s soils can stabilise the earth’s climate, she purchased a 40-acre piece of land in Florida to grow crops and live off her own harvests.
At the time, she had no experience in farming – but she’s now successfully grown fruit and vegetables, including watermelons and mulberries.
Rachel said: “Having grown up in Washington state, which is filled with beautiful mountains and trees, I’ve always loved nature.

“But I’d never considered buying my own land until I watched a documentary and realised how awful the way we farm really is.
“I used my first million to buy the land and put a barn on it, get a tractor and all the equipment I needed.
“The scale that I decided to go for is pretty ambitious but I love getting involved and driving the tractor.”
Rachel lives away from the farm in a five-bedroom house that she bought last year.
She says she earns more than 90 per cent of professional athletes.
Rachel says her outdoorsy family, who still live in Seattle, were supportive and excited when she told them she was going to buy a farm – and they have no issue with how she affords it, either.

She said: “My family were so into the farm idea – my mum in particular was really excited.
“They support my career as long as I’m happy, and don’t care that I make money from stripping off online.”
Rachel plans to introduce animals to the farm soon as well.
Reminiscing on the past, she’s almost in disbelief at how much her life has changed since her Hollywood days.

She added: “Looking back at that time in my life, which was just a few years ago, is crazy.
“It’s so exciting to have my own house and it definitely beats sharing a twin room.
“I’m extremely thankful and sometimes I can’t believe this is what I get to do.
“Having complete creative control over my job is amazing.”
“And I never have to worry about eating expired food again.”
