A shocked dog walker came across a mysterious pile of bones with fears of the latest big cat kill.
Amy Coyne was left spooked after she crossed paths with the remains of an unknown animal.
The strange set of bones left her confused with the walker initially thinking it belonged to a “big fish”.

Amy found the remains whilst out walking her dog on Holmwood Common, Dorking, Surrey

Left in the boggy field is what is now suspected to be the spine of a deer.
Locals have been left in fear that the carcass could have been killed by the Surrey puma.
As early as the 18th century, the people of Surrey have been reporting sightings of the legendary big cat.
Amy told Need To Know: “I honestly thought someone would just tell me the name of the giant fish and that would be it.

“There’s been a few recent sightings of other bones in the area, hence the Surrey puma theory.
“I might never live down the very big fish comment.”
Locals have voiced their concerns on the find.
Paul Feakins said: “That’s the spine of a deer that’s been eaten by the Surrey puma.”

Richard Woodhouse wrote: “It’s a deer, maybe a female.”
Clare De Fraga Gomes stated: “Definitely not a snake, totally different spine I’d say it’s a young sheep or young deer.”

Pam Armitage added: “I’ve seen one of these before, it’s the spine of a deer.”
