Boffins have built an AI powered robot that has perfected the game of Jenga with a crazy whip technique.

Technology is constantly evolving with the world’s greatest minds paving the way for robots to play an integral role in our future.

Nothing is beyond the realms of possibilities with robots now even turning their talents to kids’ games.

The beloved game of Jenga is the next step in the feared robotic world domination.

Boffins operating UC Berkeley’s Robotic AI and Learning Lab have now created what could be the world’s most effective player.

The hobby can only be pulled off by humans with ultimate reflexes and brilliant dexterity who train for years to execute it successfully.

By learning from human demonstrations and its own attempts the robot can now whip any Jenga block out of the confined stack that it wants.

The robot is currently learning new skills on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley, as reported by Need To Know.

The lab made the choice to make its research an open source for others to build on their progress.

Jianlan Luo, a researcher who worked on the robot, said: “The Jenga task is very difficult for most humans.

“I tried it with a whip in my hand; I had a 0% success rate.

“A key goal of this project is to make the technology as accessible and user-friendly as an iPhone.

“I firmly believe that the more people who can use it, the greater impact we can make.”
