Oso died on 31 March from a serious illness and Hector shared a string of videos to document the funeral.
In one of the videos, he can be heard saying: “Here we are on the second day of the Oso’s wake.”
Hector, a businessman, had a personalised coffin made for Oso and created an altar which he decorated with candles and red and white flowers.
On 1 April, he shared a tragic video of Oso lying at the altar surrounded by candles, as reported by Need To Know.
On the third day (2 April), Hector shared footage of a folk orchestra.
In the video, which attracted 51,000 views, Hector cried and stroked Oso as the band played music.
Later on in a separate clip, which attracted 108,000 views, Hector and his friends dug a hole in the ground outside of his home before laying the dog to rest in a white coffin.
According to local press, this is not the first time that Hector has paid tribute to a pet in such a special way. In 2017, he held a funeral procession by car.
Oso’s funeral, held in the Huancan District, in Huancayo, Peru, received lots of attention from people online.
Many offered their condolences to Hector while crediting him for the special send-off.
Edth said: “Our pets accompany us more than our family they always wait for you with joy and wagging their tail what a pity.”

Chela added: “Gone is his best friend and faithful. Beautiful farewell, he deserves it.”
“The best thing I’ve ever seen. They deserve it too,” said Bertha.
Gaby said: “My deepest condolences for your doggy son, what a beautiful heart you have.”
“My deepest condolences Hector,” Jim added.
