A bodybuilder tragically died, aged 30, after performing at a competition.
Dad-of-two Wanderson da Silva Moreira fell ill soon after leaving the stage.
He suffered a cardiac arrest in the backstage area which caused him to fall to the ground.

Staff hired to work at the event rushed to help him before a medical team stepped in.
Attempts were made to resuscitate Wanderson, however, they were not successful.

He passed away at around 3pm yesterday (11 May).
His family reported that Wanderson had arterial hypertension, according to local press.
Wanderson, who had two young children, had shared his final Instagram post on Friday (9 May), as reported by Need To Know.
He shared a photo of himself and his wife, Jaquelliny Carvalho, together at a competition previously.

“Today I came without you but I’ll do what I can to take one more home,” he said.
Wanderson was competing in the Pantanal Contest, held at the Clube Estoril Sports Club, in Campo Grande, north west of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Clube Estoril reported that the space was rented for the event, as per local press.
The space is still open for future events, and yesterday’s competition brought together competitors from all over the country in search of visibility and national titles.
Wanderson, who was from Rondonópolis, in Mato Grosso, Brazil, had 6,139 followers on Instagram.

He regularly shared photos from competitions, his time spent in the gym, and expressed love towards his children.
His followers commented on the news of his passing through his social media.
One person said: “May you rest in peace.”
Andrielly said: “My God, how sad. May God comfort the family and friends.”

“Rest in peace champ,” added a third person.
Bruno said: “Rest in peace my friend, I admire you a lot.”
“I still can’t believe it. Rest in peace,” Lucas added.
