A mummy and daddy swan and their seven cute cygnets were saved after wandering onto busy carriageway.
Cops were alerted after the family-of-nine birds were spotted in a Hot Fuzz-style call out.
Luckily, a passing highway engineer was among those who saw them.

He flicked his hazard lights on and followed them for a mile keeping other traffic away.
Drivers were forced to brake and slow down to keep them safe.
The swans eventually left the road and found safety in a field none the worse for their ordeal.
Locals hailed the efforts of the man – who didn’t want to be named.
It happened on Wednesday (28 May) on the A256 near Sandwich, Kent, as reported on Need To Know.

Colleen Dunstall gushed: “Great work.
“The cute little run after the lorry passed.”
Donna Jordan said: “Bless them.”

Rachel Webb added: “So cute.”
Lisa Durdey said: “So lovely.”
By the time police officers arrived the swans had left the road.
Kent Police declined to comment.
In the 2007 movie Hot Fuzz, Simon Pegg’s cop character was forced to captured an on-the-loose swan.
