Three cops aimed tasers at a man who was suspected of having a knife after reports of a fight only to find him unarmed.
He was sitting on the seat of a bus stop in front of shocked shoppers in broad daylight.
The officers pointed the yellow stun guns at him as a crowd gathered around.

The man refused to put his hands on his head and asked police what he’d done wrong.
One cop said: “Put your hands on your head.
“Put your hands on your head.”
The man replied: “What have I done?”
Another officer said: “Put your hands on your head now.”
A woman looking on said: “It was the other guy.
“Oh my God.”
Another cop said: “Look at me.
“Get your hands out of your pockets.”
Police were responding after an alleged knife fight that had broken out between three people outside Ilford Tube Station on Cranbrook Road, Ilford, east London, as reported by Need to Know.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “On Monday, 9 June at 4:50pm police were called to reports of a fight involving a knife between three men in Cranbrook Road, Ilford.
“Officers attended the scene and detained two men, one in his late teens and another in his early 20s.
“Tasers were drawn but not discharged when the man in his 20s initially refused to cooperate with officers.
“Both men were searched. No weapons were recovered and no arrests were made.
“There were no injuries reported.”
One local Jenny said: “Why not just do as you’re asked?”

Another added: “How hard is it to follow instructions?
