A man who threw a defenceless cat from a ninth floor window has sparked outrage.
CCTV showed the suspect passing the animal, which had made itself comfortable on top of a cabinet, before marching over to it.
He grabbed the feline and flung it out of the open window.

The man then peered down to the ground before making his way to the lift.
The shocking scenes were filmed at an apartment block in Mumbai, India, last Thursday (5 Jun).
The cat landed on a metal sheet on the ground and did not survive, according to local reports.
The video sparked outrage among residents and animal rights groups after going viral online, as reported by Need To Know.
The man has since been identified as building resident Kasam Sayyed.
One furious local filmed himself visiting the suspect’s apartment with a written complaint addressed to the police.
He also showed the distance the cat fell after Sayyed allegedly threw it out of the window.
The activist was heard demanding justice for the animal’s death.
He urged the authorities to take action against the suspect.
Despite the widespread condemnation, the police have yet to confirm that they are investigating Sayyed for allegedly killing the cat.
