A seagull had a swastika dubbed on her head by a vile lag at a prison.
The inmate grabbed hold of the bird then drew the Nazi symbol between her eyes.
The con also pulled out some of her feathers, which means she now can’t fly.

The Lesser Black Backed Gull – called Belinda – was found and is now being cared for by experts.
It happened at HMP Isle of Wight in Newport on the island.

It is a Category B prison with over 1,000 inmates, many of whom are sex offenders.
East End gangsters The Krays, Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe and disgraced pop star Garry Glitter previously served time there.
Belinda is being looked after at Skippers Sanctuary, a local charity that looks after wild birds.
One volunteer claimed: “If it were humans they were doing this to, they would get time added to their sentence.
“But because their victim is not a human, no one in a position to take action seems to think it warrants any.”
She is now eating and has been allowed outside under the watch of the charity staff, as reported on Need To Know.
The shocking attack happened last Friday (6 Jun).

A spokesperson for the charity said: “She’s doing well. She’s very traumatised, but she’s making progress every day.
“Sadly, she is likely to have had babies in the nest.
Without feathers to fly with, she will need to stay with us for months to grow them back.”
Last June, a bird was covered in yellow paint at the prison.

Locals reacted with disgust at the cruel act.
Gordon Standley fumed: “Add 10 years on to all their sentences.”
Debbie York added: “Absolutely barbaric.”

Ann Evans said: “How absolutely dreadful.”
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary and the Ministry of Justice have been approached for comment.
