The frozen bodies of a missing couple have been found on a mountain after they disappeared during a climb to the peak.
Esteve Carbonell and Txell Fusté were reportedly caught in a severe snowstorm on 7 December last year.
That day, wind speeds reached 50mph and temperatures plunged below -15 °C.

Search operations were carried out over multiple weeks, but had to be suspended in January due to the large volume of snow and high risk of avalanches.
Since the snow started to thaw in recent weeks, the authorities have stepped up the search in the French Pyrenees.

But it was a group of mountaineers who came across the first body two weeks ago (2 Jun).
The victim is believed to be Esteve, 47.
Before undergoing an autopsy, the authorities said there was an 80% chance it was him.
Using aerial reconnaissance in the same area, the authorities came across a second body last Tuesday (10 Jun).
The remains were found just 650 feet from the first body, as reported by Need To Know.

All indications suggest the victim was the 52-year-old woman from Catalonia.
The couple disappeared during their ascent to Rulhe Peak over six months ago.
The remains were taken to the Toulouse Forensic Medical Institute.
The French authorities have yet to confirm the victims’ identities, but it is believed that both families have been informed of the discovery.
If confirmed, the tragic case of the missing couple will be closed six months after their disappearance.
